Acrylic acid-acrylate copolymer is a water quality stabilizer widely used in oil field water, boiler water and various industrial cooling water systems as a scale inhibitor and pre-filming agent.The production method comprises the following steps: refining acrylonitrile, acrylamide and butyl acrylate, copolymerizing in the presence of an emulsifier and an initiator, removing unreacted monomers, and filtering to obtain a finished product.

The acrylic-acrylate copolymer should be stored in a cool, ventilated warehouse, and the storage temperature should not exceed 37 °C. It should be stored separately from oxidants and food chemicals. The storage area should be equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment and suitable containment materials.
